More Great Framing Projects

More Great Framing Projects
We have a sign in our shop that says “we also do simple projects”. We put this in because we don’t want our customers to think that we only do special framing. If you need something simple, we can do it, often while you wait. However, if you want something special, there are very few limits. We have won 68 awards in trade competitions, just imagine what we can do for you!   Following are some additional great framing projects we have done. This is just a sliver of what we have done in the past and continue to do daily.

Window Seat
If you have an office without a window, look what we can do for you.

Tweetie and Sylvester
We framed this Sericell of Tweetie and Sylvester with the special cutouts. We then back illustrated the cutouts to enhance the matting.

Giant  Antique Flag
When Holy Cross Naval ROTC of Worcester wanted their giant antique flag framed, they came all the way to the Frame Man, after getting numerous recommendations from the trade. Captain Terry LaBrecque the Commanding Officer, is shown in front of the flag which as finished was 126” long, x 76” high.

Leather Tiger
We framed this carved leather tiger using a free form mat which follows the outline of the tiger shape. We are known nationwide for our ability to cut free form shaped mats, and have won many contests using this technique.

Church in Milton MA
We matted and framed this lovely church in the Town of Milton for one of our customers. Notice the delicate Cross we cut into the matting.

We also regularly dry mount and frame architectural renderings and presentation drawings

Framed art
Our customer felt that we framed this lovely print just right for the subject. We think so too! Notice also that we notched the matting to allow the signature to show.

Plexi Boxes Too
Notice the way we framed this Ray Bourque Signed hockey glove. We mounted it on a piece of a hockey stick, which we then fastened to the base of the Lucite box which we also supplied. This project was recently featured in a national trade magazine.

Conch Shell, Bahamas
Notice the striking way we framed this print. Our customer liked both the blue and green colors, so we used both! Note how we pieced together and changed the color of the frame, and the color of the matting to correlate with the graphics of the poster. We have used this technique for years, and have made some very happy customers as a result. This is just one of many reasons why most of our customers have also become our friends.

Frame For George Bush
We occasionally do framing for the Town of Milton, MA, where George Bush, our former President was born. Their Historical Committee came to us with a very specific request. They wanted a frame for a copy of the town charter, which they planned to present to him. Carol offered the following proposal.  "Let us design it for you", she said, "and if you don't like it, don't pay us". As an option, Carol suggested the design shown which they ended up prefering. They were delighted with the final results.

Medals
We often frame war medals, police badges, uniforms, guns and other memorabilia

Beautiful Oil Painting
This lovely and very large painting needed a beautiful and substantial frame to go with it. The owner’s happy smile says it all!

Meriedith’s first dress
Meredith’s first dress is also a very striking framing job. We shadow boxed it, and cut out little hearts and a decorative V groove in the matting. We printed the words at the bottom of the matting. We also hand painted the leaves and flowers on the face of the frame. This looks great in the photo, but if you saw it in person, you’d love it even more.

Boston Garden Parquet Floor
The Fleet Center was another framer's account, but he asked us to help with the framing of the floor pieces from the old Boston Garden. Here is just one of the pieces we framed in a shadow box for the Sotheby’s auction.
